Two years after we had organsied the meeting, the TiM 2018 takes place in Düsseldorf and is organsied by our colleagues Astrid Schauss (Cologne) and Steffi Weidtkamp-Peters (Düsseldorf).
BioDIP's History
The BioDIP has developed over a couple of years. Major steps were the foundation of the Imaging Facilities Network (IFN) in 2006 and later the foundation of the BioDIP in 2013 enabled by the DFG "Core facilities" funding.

Ali Gheisari joins the LMF at the CMCB.
Ali is a physicist by training. He did a joint PhD in Optics & Biology at LENS in Florence/IT and KIT in Karlsruhe/DE where he developed a bessel-beam light sheet microcope to investigate the brain structure & function in zebrafish.
