AiryScan workshop for LMF staff
BioDIP members participated in a workshop offered by Zeiss on Airyscan. In the morning specific questions and issues were discussed while the afternoon was dedicated to a practical hands-on session.
BioDIP's History
The BioDIP has developed over a couple of years. Major steps were the foundation of the Imaging Facilities Network (IFN) in 2006 and later the foundation of the BioDIP in 2013 enabled by the DFG "Core facilities" funding.

ZEN blue workshop
BioDIP members participated in a workshop offered by Zeiss on user & file management in ZEN blue. Theoretical sessions in the morning were followed by a hands-on session in the afternoon.
Lenka Strbkova joins LMF at MPI-CBG
Lena joins the LMF team for a 2-month internship and will take care of the digital holographic microscope from TESCAN.
EMBO Light Sheet Course at MPI-CBG
As in 2014, BioDIP supports the EMBO Practical Course on Light Sheet Microscopy that takes place from Aug 15-26 at the MPI-CBG.
